Saving your hands

Do you or any of your employees handle sharp items?? Or do you have extensive hand injuries due to cuts and punctures?

Well at Bi-Metal Industrial Products Inc., we can help you, with anti-cut Black Nitrile Coated Gloves which are very cut resistant. Our band saw blades are very sharp, as we remove them from our blade boxes.  Our employees love them, as it has decreased their hand injuries extremely.

At one time we were using, good quality leather palmed gloves. There were times they would last only a day or two. Now with these anti-cut gloves we are well into the 4 to 6 week area. That’s great as we are saving money too in both aspects from band aid or first aid supplies to the leather glove pricing plus down time.

Today we introduce a new way of communicating products we represent to our blog. Probably most of our customers may have had seen this feature before when our sales people have gone around to visit our cliental. But we can’t see everyone so we thought that this is another medium.

We bring forward our carbide burs and sets from Champion Cutting Tools.

Burs are used in many construction shops, metal working shops, to remove welds, finish casting flaws, enlarge or dig out holes, etc. They are one of the most used tools.

Champion Carbide burs are the best of the best, in TIN coated or uncoated. The TIN coated burs are manufactured for the people who use a lot of these for extensive long periods of time. They stay cooler, sharper for a longer period of time due to the TIN coating. This creates less down time changing burs out, allowing faster completion of the job at hand.

Full Speed Ahead

On the first of November we added a new face to the Bi-Metal team. His name is Mark. His back ground is one out of the insurance industry. Interesting that a person would pick Bi-Metal Industrial Products over staying in the field they are from. It’s always good to have a new and fresh person around with a different perspective on things.

Then January came along and we added another fresh face to the lineup. His name is Frank. His back ground is the heavy industrial sales side and retail. Great now we have more experience added to our wonderful sales force.

You will meet these two dynamic people as they travel around the Alberta territory meeting with the present and new clientele.

Tuning up your Band Saw Machine

Having problems with your band saw machine? Blades don’t last, like you think they are supposed to? Are they breaking on you? Getting crooked cuts?
